3:50am: It's a six hour time difference between here and home. Jet lag? You bet. It's currently 3:50am and I'm wide awake writing this. The 10 1/2 hours in the air to get here takes its toll on you. But, what awaits here will make that bit of pain a distant memory as soon as the sun comes up. First light this time of year is about 5:30, which is earlier than when we usually come in February. I'll update this post later in the day.
6:09am: The sun is rising. Good morning from paradise.

7:27pm: A very nice, not over ambitious first full day here. We took a nice 2 1/2 mile walk on the beach this morning, followed by a lovely breakfast of cereal and fresh papaya. By 9am we were poolside. We really needed the break, and to feel the warmth of the sun. After baking a couple hours, it was off to Safeway. After getting a few days worth of groceries, it was again pool time for Heidi. I decided to stay back, have a sandwich and take a half (or three) hour power nap. I guess I needed to recharge the batteries. After grilled chicken and shrimp kebabs, it was back to the Charley Young Beach for sunset.
