As you know, I STRONGLY recommend that you stay in a condo over a hotel.

But, the Pioneer Inn in Lahaina is a nice enough little hotel which will do in a pinch if you're looking to fill in a couple days either before or after your condo rental.

It has lots of history, and is centrally located in the heart of Lahaina.

The Maui Vista is a complex of condos in South Kihei.

We stayed there in May of 2017.  It was very nice.  Pretty grounds.  There are three buildings, each with it's own pool and grilling area.  There are tennis courts, and it's a short walk across the street to Charley Young Beach.  I've also had a lot of friends stay here, and they have all enjoyed it. Here is the AirBNB listing for the one bedroom condo we stayed in.  https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/10415169

Worldmark is a timeshare, and where I've stayed most often.  If you don't have a Worldmark membership, there are a few units available through VRBO and airbnb.

Some of the units are a bit pricey, but it's a very nice place.

I've only stayed at Pacific Shores once, so I'll only share with you the unit we stayed in.  This is a 3 bedroom, ground floor unit, directly across the street from Charley Young Beach.  Very nice (if you can do without a view).  The BEST part is the PRICE.  According to VRBO, the unit averages $350/night.  I can tell you that we stayed there in Feb/Mar 2015 for two weeks and the price was $3600.  Divided amongst 3 couples was about $85/night.
